These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the macOS application "ClipReplace" (the "Application") provided by Kazuo Ito (the "Provider").

Relationship with the Apple Standard EULA

If the Application is obtained through Apple's App Store or Mac App Store, the license for the Application is subject to the Standard EULA (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) provided by Apple.

These Terms do not replace the Apple Standard EULA, but set forth supplemental conditions concerning use of the Application.
If the content of these Terms conflicts with the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA and applicable laws shall prevail.

Overview of the Application

Based on replacement rules configured by the user, the Application reads text on the clipboard and writes the replacement result back to the clipboard only when the user explicitly executes it.
This application does not access the clipboard unless the user performs an explicit action, and it does not continuously monitor the clipboard.

Conditions of Use

Users shall use the Application at their own responsibility.
Users must use the Application in a manner that does not infringe laws and regulations, public order and morals, these Terms, the Apple Standard EULA, or the rights of third parties.

Except where permitted by law, users must not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, redistribute, re-license, or engage in any other similar acts with respect to all or part of the Application.

Data Managed by Users

Profile names, keywords, strings to be replaced, input values, secret values, and other data registered in the Application shall be managed by users at their own responsibility.
When handling personal information of third parties, authentication information, trade secrets, or other highly confidential information, users must manage such information appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and the rules of their own organization.

If Include Secrets is enabled in the JSON export function of the Application, secret values may be included in the export file in plain text.
Users shall be responsible for the storage location, sharing, backup, deletion, and any other management of such export files.

Billing

The Application may include a non-consumable In-App Purchase through Apple's App Store billing mechanism.
Purchases, billing, refunds, receipts, payment methods, and other matters relating to settlement shall be governed by Apple's conditions and the mechanisms of the App Store.

External Services

The Application may provide, as an optional feature, a crash report transmission function using Google Firebase Crashlytics.
That function is used only when the user has explicitly enabled it.
For details, please refer to the separately established Privacy Policy.

The Application may also display links to external web pages such as help pages, the Privacy Policy, the Apple Standard EULA, and others.
Use of external services or external web pages is subject to the conditions of each provider.

Disclaimer

The Application is provided as is and to the extent available.
To the extent permitted by law, the Provider makes no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability, absence of errors or defects, or non-infringement of third-party rights of the Application.

To the extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users or third parties in connection with use or inability to use the Application, or with loss, leakage, corruption, erroneous conversion, erroneous replacement, or any other issue concerning data stored, processed, output, or exported by the Application.
However, this shall not apply where limitation of liability is not permitted under applicable law.

Changes to or Suspension of the Offered Content

The Provider may, as necessary, change the functions, specifications, method of provision, or timing of provision of the Application, or suspend or terminate the provision of all or part of the Application.

Changes to These Terms

The Provider may change these Terms as necessary.
The revised Terms shall become effective at the time they are published by a method the Provider deems appropriate or on a separately specified effective date.
